Anyways, this is the best beginner-friendly Equalizer VST plug-in I could find that had these presets. While it lacks the infinite banding of ReaEQ, the fact that it has these premade profiles was a godsend for getting it tuned quickly to an acceptable level. BasiQ is an acronym for Baxandall simulation equalizer. It is a 3-band equalizer plugin with photorealistic graphics from Kuassa, Inc. As the name implies, the engine are modeled after a design of classic baxandall equalizer well known for its smooth shelves and natural-sounding responses, similar to the tone control on a hi-fi systems. Not all VST and AU plugins are compatible with every DAW and operating system used. So, make sure they are compatible first before downloading them. My favorite three picks from the list would be SonEQ for creative purposes, ReaEQ for high precision tasks, and EasyQ for all-around use. I also like BootEQ a lot, it’s great for coloring, and IIEQ which is another fantastic plugin and slowly becoming my next go-to EQ.
