Si6ma emulates a popular high-gain guitar amplifier known for its aggressive sound. It features a streamlined single-channel design. The amp is designed to deliver heavily distorted guitar tones suitable for genres like heavy metal and hard rock.
The interface features a number of control parameters for shaping the guitar tone. The user can adjust the input gain and the master volume, or use the built-in noise gate to tighten the sound. As for the tone controls, Si6ma features a three-band equalizer, as well as the focus, presence, and depth parameters.
Audio Assault’s latest virtual guitar amplifier also comes with a built-in cabinet simulator with a selection of impulse responses. Users can turn the cabinet simulation off. On a related note, you can currently get the Torpedo Wall of Sound cabinet simulator plugin for free.
Si6ma can be downloaded completely free of charge from Audio Assault’s website. A valid email address is required to complete the checkout process. At the moment, the plugin will only work on stereo tracks. An update will be released soon to fix this issue. Also, please note that only 64-bit digital audio workstations are supported.
