This was our list of plugins that we think every edm producer should have in their DAW (Fl studio, Ableton, Logic pro x, Cubase, Reaper, Studio One, Reason, Pro tools ). If you think we missed any plugin in our list drop down a comment and help fellow producer.
We searched, tested and compiled a list that covers some of the best Free Reverb plugins for both Windows and MAC OS (with few exceptions). Do not confuse this list with a top, their position in the list is purely random.
Reverb plugins reproduce the ambience of an imaginary room or space and they have many musically useful characteristics. Usually, the reverb effect is often used, but in small amounts because if it’s used in excess, the end result will sound rather strange, and you do not want that in your final mix.
Ambience free reverb plugin is so good that rivals many commercial plugins. Ambience includes some unusual functions such as a “Gater” and a useful Hold function. It comes with a great collection of useful presets (Dry, Wet, Time, Size, Pre-Delay, and Width). Functions like “Quality” allows you to trade off reverb quality for CPU usage and the “Variation” button creates a new variant of the same room.
This great free reverb plugin effect definitely worth your attention!
Compatibility: VST, AU (32-bit/64-bit), Windows and MAC OS.

For beginners (do not be ashamed, we all were like you), here is how you can install plugins on your computer:
Most of these freeware plugins are quite easily to install on Windows systems. Just unzip the .zip/.rar file and copy the .dll file or entire folder to your main “VST Plugins” folder (most often it can be found in Program Files). On MAC computers, the installation process is also very simple, locate on your Macintosh HDD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and copy/paste (drag) the .dmg file there. After you’ve done this, open your music software (DAW) and refresh the effects plugins list, if the new plugin does not appear automatically.
We hope you enjoyed our list, and if you want to recommend other useful freeware Reverb plugins, please use the comments section below.
